CLG GENEROSITY <3

Thank you so much!  The students of CLG voted and said they wanted to help those less fortunate than themselves and today they delivered on that promise…

Our CARING community CASUALLY (see what we did there?) raised a whopping $745.00 for the Cancer Council.

Thank you all so much –  enjoy a beautiful Easter holiday and we look forward to seeing you for more positive action in term 2.

CASUAL DAY LAST DAY OF TERM

Our SRC have been working hard to find out what is most important to the kids @ CLG and our classes have voted and had their say.  The top two items for action are:

  1. Helping those less fortunate than ourselves
  2. Bullying is a problem that we can help fix

Our classes have now been asked to provide ideas and suggestions for how this might look at CLG this year.

As a leadership group that is demonstrating action, the SRC have organised a casual day for the last day of term to help those less fortunate than ourselves.  Students will be able to come to school in appropriate casual dress (covered shoulders, sensible length dresses/skirts etc.) in return for a daffodil (gold) coin donation.  This is a FUNDRAISING day to raise money for the Cancer Council (a charity that the kids voted to support last year but ran out of time ).  If you do not wish to make a donation please come wearing school uniform.

Thank you for helping us to support those less fortunate.
